Question: How do I filter so that I only get unqualified companies and not both unqualified and qualified?
Answer: When you create and save a segment, only available companies should appear for you to work with. If you’ve saved the segment but still see occupied companies, please provide examples so we can assist you. 😊 Let me know if I misunderstood your question.


Fetching Contact Details for Decision Makers

Question: I have a list of about 2,000 companies, with company names and registration numbers. I want to get a list with contact details of decision-makers at all these companies. Can you help with that?
Answer: In Goava, you can upload your list of registration numbers and company names. You can then apply a contact filter to match the companies with specific contact details.


Finding Exported Lists in Excel

Question: Where do I find my export of lists to Excel? I can't find it.
Answer: No worries! Once you've completed the export process, click the notification bell (🔔) in the top-right corner of the Goava interface. When your file is ready, you’ll see an option to "Download file." Click that to save it to your computer.


Integration with Byggfakta

Question: Do you have integration with Byggfakta?
Answer: Unfortunately, we currently don’t have integration with Byggfakta.


Finding Swedish Companies in Finland and Vice Versa

Question: A customer is asking if it’s possible to find Swedish companies with operations in Finland and Finnish companies with operations in Sweden.
Answer: Unfortunately, we don’t have information for searching companies based on operating countries. A tip is to search for Swedish companies (geography) and under web technologies, add the Finnish language, and vice versa for Finnish companies.


Excluding Companies Already in CRM

Question: I have a list of selected companies. I now want to exclude all companies that are already in our CRM. How can I filter that?
Answer: Currently, there is no option to exclude companies that are already in the CRM. We are working on developing this feature and hope to roll it out soon.


Question: How many companies and people do you have in Sweden? And how many of your people have email addresses?
Answer: Hi! We have all companies in Sweden in our database. When it comes to email addresses, it’s more relevant to know how many we have in specific segments. Are there particular roles or companies you’re interested in?


Question: Hi! How can I not see the ignored prospects from a segment?
Answer: You can exclude ignored prospects by going to your team-filter and excluding your colleagues' ignored lists. Do this for each person, or if a colleague ignored many prospects, exclude just that person. Don’t forget to save the segment with these new settings for future use.


Question: Hi! Can I include notes when exporting a company to CRM or Excel?
Answer: Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment, but it’s something we are looking into for the future.


Question: What is the difference between "Group parent organisation name" and "Parent organisation name"?
Answer:

  • Group Parent Organisation Name: This refers to the highest entity in a corporate structure, meaning the top parent company without any other parent company above it.
  • Parent Organisation Name: This refers to the immediate owner of a company, i.e., the parent company that owns the specific company, but it may not be the highest parent company in the corporate structure.

Question: How do I create a segment where the company name includes the word "frakt"?
Answer: Go to "Company" in the filtering menu and search under "company name" for "frakt". This will return all companies that have "frakt" in their name.


Question: Hi, can you sign up for a short period or what is your cancellation policy?
Answer 1: Hi! We can offer shorter trial periods depending on what you want to test. The first step for testing is to book a demo and talk to a salesperson.
Answer 2: We have a 60-day cancellation notice, and our contracts are typically for 12 months. We can offer a free trial period (about 1 week) with some restrictions, but it varies depending on the case. We’d love to learn more about what you’re looking for! 😊

 

What should I do if I am experiencing slow performance or issues with Goava?

If you are experiencing slow performance or issues with Goava, please be patient as the issue is likely being addressed. The support team is working on resolving the problem and it should be fixed shortly. If the problem persists, feel free to reach out to support for further assistance.

 

How can I filter companies in HubSpot to find venture capital firms?

To filter companies in HubSpot for venture capital firms, you can use the "web" filter to specify companies that mention "Venture capital" on their websites. Combine this with a finance industry filter and set an asset filter for at least 10mSEK. This can help you narrow down the list to relevant companies. You can further fine-tune this search by adjusting the segment configuration in your HubSpot account.



Can Goava be used alone for lead generation, or is Hubspot also needed?

Goava can be used as a stand-alone tool for creating leads and business opportunities. It is not necessary to use a CRM together  with Goava for these purposes, it is however recommeneded.



How can I resend an invitation link for a Goava account?

Check you spam folder, in case it has ended up there. If a user has not received their invitation link to start their Goava account, send us the users email here in the chat and we can resend it.



What should I do if I encounter an internal server error when qualifying a company to my CRM?

If you encounter an internal server error while qualifying a company to Salesforce, please note that this issue might be temporaryt. It is advisable to retry after a minute. If the issue persists, contact our support team for further assistance and include information about what company you tried to export and at what time to help our investigation.



Why does the page revert to a company I have ignored? 

If you are working in the dashboard view and face this issue, try refreshing the page or recording your screen to help us troubleshoot the problem more effectively. This can help identify why the ignored company keeps reappearing.



How can I exclude companies that are already in our CRM from Goava's list view?

Currently, it's not possible to exclude all companies that exist in your CRM from Goava's list view. You can however use the team-filter to exclude existing lists in Goava, and all the companies that are assigned to users in your CRM that has a user in Goava will automatically be excluded.
One workaround is to make an export of a list of companies in your CRM and import that list into a custom list in Goava and exclude that list in your team filter.



How can I obtain a copy of the agreement for our subscription with Goava?

To obtain a copy of the agreement for your subscription with Goava services, please contact Goava support here in the chat or your account manager, and they will provide you with the necessary documents.



Why can't I see qualified companies in the "Qualified" list on Goava?

If you are unable to see qualified companies in the "Qualified" list on Goava, first try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then restart your browser. You could also test logging into Goava using an incognito window to eliminate cache issues. If the problem persists and there are no disruptions on Goava's end, it might be related to your internet connection, so ensure that the connection is stable. Lastly, verify if there might be an issue with your integration setup with CRM, if applicable.



How do I create a new segment list with companies that have a high Goava Score?  

In any segment you create, Goava will automatically recommend companies with the highest Goava Score. To get the highest scoring companies you should try and create a new segment, and using the analytics insights to select filters and labels that has the highest score. 



How do I change the email addresses for user accounts within our organization?

The user can do this themselves in their Goava settings page.
If you are an admin: To change the email addresses for user accounts other than your own, provide the current email addresses and the new email addresses you wish to replace them with. Then, request support to send activation emails to the new users. They will receive an email from Goava shortly after the changes are made.



How can I exclude ignored prospects from a segment in Goava?

To exclude ignored prospects from a segment, go to your team-filter and exclude your colleagues' ignored lists. You need to perform this action for each individual, but if one colleague has ignored most of the companies, you may only need to exclude that person. Be sure to save your segment with the new settings to avoid repeating this process in the future.



How can I confirm if a company is still active using Goava Discover?

You can search for the company using Goava Discover's search feature. If the company is inactive a warning triangle will be shown, and if you hover on the warning symbol you’ll see additional information. If the details are limited, particularly for sole proprietorships, it might indicate a lack of publicly available details.



How can I export a list with email addresses?

Exporting email addresses is available through our Engage package, which allows you to export email addresses among other features. You can learn more about the package here: https://www.goava.com/help-center/what-is-goava-engage. If you already subscribe to Engage, you create a segment or a list and add contact filter and let us know which segment/list you’d like to get contacts from and we’ll export it for you.



Can Goava provide lists of email addresses for employees working in talent attraction and employer branding at large companies?

Goava specializes in providing sales intelligence and insights for B2B sales and marketing teams. We do not directly provide solely lists of email addresses or contact information without a subscription to our platform. Our platform assists in identifying and targeting potential leads based on various data insights.



Can I include notes when exporting a company to CRM or Excel?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to include notes when exporting a company to CRM or Excel. However, this is something we are considering for future updates.

 


Can I sort lists or segments by the number of employees?

Yes. Ensure you have switched to list view and then click on the column for the number of employees. This should sort the list from the largest to the smallest number of employees. If sorting does not work, double-check that no conflicting filters or settings are applied.



How do I set up mapping for data imports in Goava to ensure addresses are imported correctly into the CRM?

To ensure addresses are correctly imported into HubSpot, you need to check and set up the mapping in your data import settings in Goava. Make sure that each field, such as addresses, is mapped correctly to the corresponding field in HubSpot. If you face issues, you can refer to Goava's example mapping settings for guidance.



Is it possible to search for Swedish companies operating in Finland and Finnish companies operating in Sweden?

Goava does not currently support searching for companies based on their operational countries. However, you can filter by geographical region or language of the company's website using the web technologies filter, which may help in identifying companies with cross-border operations.



Does Goava have an integration with Byggfakta?

Unfortunately, Goava does not currently have an integration with Byggfakta.



Why do companies that I have already qualified or ignored keep appearing in my segment within Goava?

This issue might occur if the team filter isn't active on your account. Make sure to activate the team filter to help manage and segment qualified or ignored companies effectively. If the problem persists, verify the specific steps you follow and filters you use, and let us know more details so we can assist you better.



How can I exclude certain companies using boolean operations in Goava?

You can use boolean operators in the web-, news- and recruitment filter to exclude or include companies in your search.



Why are revenue and company descriptions missing when importing companies from Goava into Pipedrive?

Ensure that the organization number is correctly entered for the company in Pipedrive as this might affect the data transfer. If the issue persists, provide a screenshot of the company card from Pipedrive and specify if any particular integration settings have been changed recently to help us diagnose the issue further.



Can I import a list with organization numbers in Excel to build my own list in Goava?

Yes, you can. You can create a new list in Goava and import Excel files to that list. For more detailed instructions, you can refer to the article in Goava's Help Center: Import to Goava.



How can I generate an extended customer list or "twin list" based on an imported list of companies in Goava?

To create an extended customer list or "twin list" using Goava, you can start by uploading your list of companies to the platform. Goava will then analyze your existing customers and recommend similar companies that might be of interest to you. This process saves time by allowing you to focus on engaging with the most relevant companies for your business.



Where can I find my exported lists after exporting to Excel in Goava?

After completing the export process in Goava, you can find your exported file by clicking on the notification bell (🔔) located in the upper right corner of the Goava interface. Once your file is ready, an option to "Download file" will appear. Click on it to save the file to your computer.



Can Goava help me obtain contact information for decision-makers at companies from a list with organization numbers and company names?

You can upload a list containing organization numbers and company names into Goava. Once uploaded, you can apply a contact filter to match which companies have available contact information for decision-makers.



How do I filter to only show unqualified companies and not all companies that are both qualified and unqualified?

When creating and saving a segment, you should only see available companies to work on. If after saving the segment you still see qualified companies, please verify the filter settings to ensure only unqualified companies are selected and make sure that you have saved the segment. If the issue persists, consult support with specific examples for further assistance.



Why can't I export a contact person to a company in my CRM?

If you're experiencing issues exporting a contact person to a company, please ensure that the company exists in the system and check for any specific error messages. If the issue persists, try exporting again and check if the contact can be qualified and exported simultaneously. If the problem continues, please provide an example of the contact and reach out for further assistance as it might not be a known issue.



Is it possible to filter companies by the age of their decision-makers in Goava?

As of now, Goava does not allow filtering by the age of decision-makers or CEOs as this involves handling personal information, which can be complex due to GDPR considerations. Your feedback on this matter is noted and appreciated.



How do I transfer a license from one user to another in Goava?

You need to specify whether the new user should take over the previous user's lists and segments or if you just want to deactivate one user and create a new one. 



How do I add new team members to Goava?

This is currently handled by providing us with the email of the user you’d like to add here in the chat.



Why are qualified prospects not transferring from Goava to the CRM for a new user?

Ensure that the new user account is activated with the correct email address associated with Lime. Double-check that the email used in Goava matches the one configured in Lime. If issues persist, contact support for assistance.



How do I install the CRM plugin (Enrich app) for Salesforce in Goava?

To install the Enrich app in Salesforce, follow these steps:

You can add an additional user by contacting support to activate the user. Once activated, the new user will receive an email from Goava to set up their own password. The cost for adding an extra user is 250 kr/month unless otherwise specified in your contract with Goava.



From which databases does Goava source its data?

Goava sources data from a variety of reputable data providers to ensure comprehensive and accurate sales intelligence. For specific information on these data sources, please contact our support team directly.



How do I include company names when exporting a list to share with colleagues?

When exporting a list of companies, ensure that you check the 'company names' option in the export settings to include them in the export file.



How can I filter for websites built on specific e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or Magento, and at the same time, use specific payment providers like Klarna or Svea?

Currently, Goava supports the OR logic for web technology filters, meaning that combining multiple filters may result in displaying companies that employ only one of the specified technologies. If you wish to filter websites by both e-commerce platforms and payment providers simultaneously, you can take the following steps as a workaround:

 

  1. First, create a segment with all companies that use e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, PrestaShop, or Magento. You can then save this as a list in Goava (up to 10,000 companies at a time).
  2. Next, create a new segment and apply the team filter to include just the list you've saved. This will show only the companies in that list.
  3. Apply an additional filter for web technology, such as payment providers like Klarna or Svea.

 

This approach helps you more precisely narrow down companies based on your desired criteria. Note that more advanced filtering logic may be supported in future platform updates.



How can I filter the list to show e-commerce companies that ship to Finland?  

To filter for e-commerce companies that ship to Finland, use the following filters:  

- Set "Web Technologies" and select categories like "Shop" and "Shipping".  

- Use the "Web" filter and enter: "till finland" OR "to finland".  

- Choose "Geography" as Sweden (or other country of origin).  

This setup can be further refined with industry-specific knowledge for better results.



How can Goava help us to increase our sales and productivity?

Is it possible to lock my prospect list to see Employees and List view?

Currently, the feature to lock a prospect list to consistently display Employees and List view is not available. However, you can use filtering and sorting options manually to achieve a similar view as needed.



How do I connect Zapier to my Goava account to set up automations?

To connect Zapier to your Goava account, go to your settings in Goava and select Zapier from the integration dropdown. Click **Get configurations** to view your account ID and obtain an API token. Copy this API token as it is required to connect your Goava account to Zapier. If you need to generate a new token, disconnect from Zapier in your Goava settings and reconnect to receive a new API token.



How do I export a list to Excel in Goava?

To export a list to Excel in Goava, follow these steps: 

  1. Select view mode in the top right to "List view."
  2. Select the companies you want to export by checking the corresponding checkboxes.
  3. Click on "Export to Excel" in the menu on the right side.
  4. A popup window will appear where you can choose the specific data fields you wish to include in your export.
  5. After making your selections, click the "Export" button to start the process.
  6. Once the export is complete, click on the notification bell in the top-right corner.



How do I set up the Goava Ping mobile app?

Can Goava assist with issues with my CRM integration?

How can I terminate my contract with Goava?

To terminate your contract, please contact our customer support through the help center or email, providing the original agreement date. Our team will confirm the termination details with you promptly.

 

How do I transfer a license to another user in Goava?

To transfer or change a license you can navigate yourself to our Settings on the top right corner and change the email address to whom it might concern. You are also always welcome to get in contact with out Goava support with the details of the current user and the new user who will receive the license. Our support team will assist you with adjusting the licenses accordingly.



Can I upload a list with only company names in Goava?

While it is recommended to upload your list with both company names and organization numbers for the best results in Goava, you can still upload a list with only company names. Follow these steps:

 

  1. Click on **"Lists"** in the menu on the left.
  2. Create a new list by giving it a name and clicking **"Create list"**.
  3. Open the newly created list from the menu on the left.
  4. Click on the three dots and choose **"Import"**.
  5. Upload your CSV file with the company names.
  6. Click **"Save"**.

To add a colleague to your team you need to contact support@goava.com or write in the chat. As soon as added to your team you can share segments. Just update your segment and share with your colleague. 

 

Can Goava work with specific criteria for searching companies in specific sectors?

Yes. By using our filtering you can search for companies within specific sectors with specific criteras such as revenue, employees, industry, geographical area and many more. 

 

Does the Goava database include companies from Lithuania?  

No, the Goava database includes companies from the Nordic region, specifically from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. It does not include companies from Lithuania.



How do I manage user licenses and upgrade them in Goava?

To manage user licenses in Goava please contact your Customer Success Manager, support@goava.com or write to us in the chat and we will assist you. 

 

How do I find companies similar to my existing customers using Goava?

By adding your ‘Customer list’ underneath Sort Order when creating a Segment or using Auto Segment Goava will help you find similar companies to your existing customers.

How can I book a demo?

How can we cancel our contract with Goava?

To cancel your contract with Goava, please send an email to your Customer Success Manager or Support@goava.com stating your desire to terminate the agreement and we will get back to you with details and confirmation. 

 

How can I manage block lists for leads I don't want to qualify in Goava?

To manage block lists for leads you do not want to qualify, one approach would be to create an Excel list from the initial leads and import it as a block list in Goava. This can help prevent these leads from being qualified or exported to HS. However, it's advisable to consult Goava support to ensure there are no unintended consequences with this approach.



How can I integrate LinkedIn with Goava for targeted campaigns?

Goava allows you to export specific company lists that can be used for targeted LinkedIn campaigns using our service Goava Engage. Does Goava offer telemarketing services?

Goava is a sales intelligence platform and does not offer telemarketing services. We provide tools and data to support B2B sales and marketing teams in their efforts.



How can I automate contact info collection and integrate email campaigns with Membrain or Hubspot?

Please note that Goava does not directly send emails from its platform. For integrating email campaigns and automating contact info collection, I recommend using Membrain or Hubspot's respective features for this purpose. You can however export contact information from Goava and then import it into these platforms to streamline your campaigns.

 

When does our current contract expire?

Please contact Goava's customer support with your company details to inquire about contract expiration dates.

 

Invoice details need to be updated for the next billing cycle with Goava.

How many users are included in Goava Discover, and how can I add more users?

Goava Discover includes one user by default. You can add additional users at a cost of 250 SEK per month per user.

 

How do I remove my personal contact details from your database?

Does Goava have new integrations with recruitment tools?  

Goava have integrations to most of the CRM systems, but can also connect tools via Zapier.

How can I export only email addresses from a list in Goava?

This service is a part of our product Goava Engage. To export email addresses from a list in Goava you need to contact our support team. 




How can I adjust company names to match our previous workflow where we use restaurant names instead of company names in Goava when transferring information to HubSpot?

Unfortunately, there is no direct option to adapt Goava to follow your previous workflow of using restaurant names as primary names instead of company names. You might consider adding a new field in HubSpot for Restaurant Names to maintain clarity.   

 

Why does the system double-import leads when qualifying?  

The double-importing issue occurs due to a delay in system updates after qualifying leads. The button becomes unavailable for re-export after you press "Qualify," so it's essential to understand the specific flow and view in the app where the issue arises.   

 

Why is the organizational number registered as the website in HubSpot when no URL is available in Goava?  

When creating companies in HubSpot via API, a URL must be provided. If no URL is available, we construct one using the organizational number to ensure uniqueness.  

 

How does Goava handle duplicates when assigning a customer, particularly if they are already assigned to someone else?  

Goava uses organizational numbers for duplicate management. It checks whether the organizational number already exists, and if it doesn't, a new entry is created. We are working on adding duplicate management in HubSpot based on company domain name and company name as well.  

 

Is it possible to import company information from Goava without overwriting existing customer information in HubSpot?  

Importing company information without overwriting existing data is challenging. It requires ensuring fields are mapped correctly to import as complementary rather than replacement information. Investigating HubSpot's merging capabilities may help retain historical data while updating records.  

 

Is there a HubSpot feature that allows companies to be automatically matched and merged without losing history?  

HubSpot offers features to merge duplicates while preserving history. It's advisable to explore HubSpot's duplicate management tools, especially if you have Operations Hub, where such functionality is available.



How do new users set their passwords in Goava?

Once a new user is added to Goava, they should receive an email prompting them to set their new password. If they do not receive an email, they can go to the login page and select "Forgot Password" to set a password.



Can I filter companies based on their SNI codes?

Yes, you can filter companies based on their SNI codes. These codes classify companies according to their specific business areas. By using the industry filter, you can choose to include only companies with a specific SNI code to obtain more precise results.

 

Why am I not getting all customers in my industry search using Goava?

If you are having trouble finding all your customers during an industry search in your CRM, ensure that all data in the CRM is correct and up-to-date. Goava's solution provides improved company data and allows for deeper analysis within the CRM, which can help you discover more customer characteristics. Make sure that you are using the auto-updates and company matching features to enhance data quality and make your search more effective.

 

What should I do if companies stop loading while I scroll through the list?

If companies stop loading as you scroll through your list, it might be due to a temporary connectivity issue or the web page needing a refresh. First, try reloading the page, but remember this might require you to scroll through the list again from the beginning. If the issue persists, check your internet connection and try closing other tabs or applications that might be using bandwidth. Additionally, ensure your browser is updated to the latest version. If none of these steps resolve the issue, please contact our support team for further assistance.



Can I exclude companies that already exist in my CRM from the list in Goava?

Currently, it is available by creating a list with all your CRM companies and exclude it when creating your segment. However, Goava is actively working on developing this feature and making it easier. Hopefully it will be rolled out soon.

Does Goava support integration with Blikk CRM, and do you have an open API?

Goava does not have an open API. However, you can use our Zapier app for integration. If you build a Zapier app for your CRM, like Blikk, you can connect it to Goava and thousands of other applications. If needed, we can assist in creating a custom integration via Zapier for a one-time fee.

 

Can I create searches with specific keywords in Goava?

Yes, you can create searches with specific keywords using boolean operators like AND, OR, and NOT to combine or exclude keywords in a search. For example, using "Account Manager AND Stockholm" will yield results containing both keywords, while "Sales OR Account Manager OR Sales" broadens the search to include any of these keywords.

 

How do I exclude already ignored companies in Goava?

To exclude already ignored companies in Goava, use the "Team" filter, navigate yourself to the persons Ignored list you would like to Ignore. Add the ignored list and then exclude it by hover over the list. This allows you to exclude companies that have been processed or added to a list by other users in your organization.

 

How do I gain access to Danish and Norwegian companies in Goava?

To gain access to Danish and Norwegian companies, please ensure that your contract include these markets. If they are not, contact support for additional assistance. 

 

How do I resolve issues with syncing accounts between Goava and Hubspot?

If you're experiencing issues with syncing accounts between Goava and Hubspot, ensure that the email addresses used in both systems match. If there are discrepancies in email addresses or other account details, update them to ensure proper synchronization. If the problem persists, contact Goava support for further assistance.

Why can't I sign up for a demo or free trial with my email address?

If you're unable to sign up for a demo or free trial using your email address, it might be due to the use of a personal email domain such as Gmail or iCloud. Please try using a business email address instead.



How do I synchronize companies from Hubspot to Goava using the integration?  

To synchronize companies from Hubspot to Goava, follow these steps:

 

  1. Install the Goava Discover Hubspot app in Hubspot. You will need Super Admin permissions for this.
  2. After installation, you'll be redirected to the Goava Discover settings. Choose Hubspot as the integration and configure your settings.
  3. Select the field in Hubspot used for organization numbers.
  4. Opt for mapping the *Lead source* and decide if Goava should automatically create a to-do for qualified companies.
  5. Click on **Save Changes** and then on **Synchronize Companies** to start the import from Hubspot to Goava.

 

Companies will be mapped to lists in Goava based on lifecycle stage and owner in Hubspot. The default mapping is:

- Marketing Qualified Lead, Sales Qualified Lead, Lead (and companies without a stage): **Qualified**

- Opportunity: **Converted**

- Customer: **Customer**

- Latest deal lost: **Lost**

But this can be modified on your settings page in Goava.

 

When a company is qualified in Goava, it will automatically be created in Hubspot, and you will be assigned to it. If the company already exists without an owner in Hubspot, it will be updated and assigned to you. The information exported includes company name, organization number, address, website, number of employees, and revenue.

Answer: To verify if the Engage add-on is activated, go to a company's view in Goava and check the people tab. You should see additional contact information and LinkedIn contacts if Engage is active. You can also try to export contacts to your CRM or create an email list, as these features are linked to the Engage add-on. Does the note I write in Goava automatically transfer to our CRM?

We recently released a feature for exporting your notes directly to your CRM. By hovering over a note, you will now see an option to "export to CRM."
