Background of Knowit

Knowit is a Nordic consulting company with approximately 3,900 employees in the Nordic region, and operations in Germany and Poland. They deliver digital solutions for the public and private sectors. Knowit chose to partner with Goava as part of their efforts to improve data quality in their CRM system HubSpot. The goal of the collaboration was to create a uniform, accurate and reliable database in HubSpot, a prerequisite for conducting effective and data-driven sales and marketing work.

The challenge

The biggest challenge was to deal with the varying data quality that arose as a result of several parallel CRM systems at Knowit's subsidiaries. During the migration to HubSpot, a large number of duplicates and incomplete customer cards were discovered.
Many companies were missing key information such as organization number, industry code or correct company name, which in turn made segmentation, reporting and follow-up difficult. Without a common and reliable database, it was difficult for both sales and marketing teams to get a comprehensive and accurate view of customers.

The solution
To overcome these challenges, Knowit implemented Goava Enrich, a tool that automatically enriches and structures company information directly in HubSpot. Through Goava, the organization was able to:

* Identify and merge duplicates.
* Access updated and verified company data.
*Automatically fill in missing information such as organization numbers, addresses and industry codes.
*When a new company is now created in HubSpot, the basic information is retrieved directly from Goava.

This means that the sales team always has access to accurate and up-to-date data right from the start, while eliminating the risk of duplicates and manual errors.The automated process ensures that HubSpot is continuously kept up to date with the right data, which not only saves time but also reduces the need for manual maintenance over time.

The results
Since the implementation of Goava, Knowit has seen a clear improvement in data quality, efficiency, and workflows within HubSpot.
The information in HubSpot is now consistent, accurate, and easily accessible to everyone in the organization.
